FAQ
Quick answers
Do I need an Apple Music subscription?
No. The songs are previews from the Apple Music catalogue and play for everyone. A subscription is only needed to turn your own playlists into packs.
Which iPhone do I need?
Any iPhone with iOS 17 or later. The app also runs on iPad.
How are the points counted?
A right answer gives 500 points, plus up to 500 for speed: the faster you tap, the more you get. A wrong answer gives nothing, and the game moves on.
What is Today's 5?
Five songs from a new pack every day, the same five for everyone. You get one go per day, and your result and streak are yours to share. It is free, forever.
How do friends join a room?
The host sends a link or shows the code. Friends open the link on their phone, in the Tunequiz app or in the browser, type a name and they are in. Guests never pay.
What does the party pass do?
It lets you host rooms for 48 hours from the purchase. One purchase, no subscription. Lifetime includes hosting for good.
Is there a TV version?
Yes: ShoutTrack is our party quiz for Apple TV, with teams on the big screen and phones as buzzers. Tunequiz is the phone quiz for one, with rooms for friends.
